How to Write Engaging Product Descriptions

The thing with today's world is that anyone can sell anything easily now.

Oftentimes, it's the product description and presentation that makes all the difference.

A normal person would probably read the first few key details and skim over the rest of your paragraph before they can be convinced to buy from you.

Here's a quick guideline on how to write your product description:

Product Name:
Product Brand:
List Price: (fixed or negotiable)
Condition: (new or used)
Reason for Selling: (if used)
Specifications:
Mailing details:
Mode of Payment:
Return / Refund Policy:

Notice that it's all written as a quick list and not written into chunky paragraphs.

It's because buyers don't really want to skim through a large amount of data to get key information.

To get people's attention, you have to condense your product description and give them what they really need to know.

Most selling platforms would already have this format for you to fill up, while there are some that only gives you an empty space to work on.

As an example, let's say you're selling a secondhand cellphone online.

All it takes is a little bit of research and polishing and you're ready to go.

However, writing down the product description is only the first step in getting your item sold.
